Barack Obama - Who is Our Next President?
As is now widely known, Barack Obama was born the son of a white woman from Kansas, Ann Dunham, and an African college student from Kenya, Barack Obama Sr., in Hawaii. The inauguration of Barack Obama is becoming a very hot ticket these days. If you wanted a ticket to the inauguration you needed to contact your senator and request them and you would get up to four tickets for free. But Obama’s inauguration is considered so significant that tickets for his inauguration are being sold on the Internet for upwards of $25,000.00 a piece and the people selling the tickets are not even sure they can supply the tickets to the buyers.

Political Promises: Rhetoric--and Hope
Political campaign slogans are usually not much more than rhetoric. In general they are fairly empty promises or catchy phrases and in that the Barack message: Yes We Can is not much different. Yes we can what? It really doesn't say anything at all so why is it so powerful?
